Styrene is a liquid that binds into chains to form high-impact polystyrene (HIPS) in solid form, which is one of the most commonly used plastics with the common name of Plasticard or Evergreen. It can be glued with cyanoacrylate adhesives and specific glue for plastics compatible with this material, creating very strong bonds. Its smooth surface accepts paint well, providing excellent results for finished models.
