The synthetic bristles closely mimic natural hair, but are more forgiving for beginner painters and ideal for methods that use thicker, less diluted paints—such as dry brushing or single-stroke techniques. Because synthetic bristles absorb less water, they are particularly well-suited for tasks involving minimal paint dilution. For more fluid techniques like washing, blending, layering, or color transitions, we recommend using natural hair brushes instead.

Synthetic brushes are also easier to maintain than natural hair brushes and hold their tip shape with less effort. To prolong their lifespan, always reshape the bristles to a fine point after use, avoid letting paint dry within the bristles, and store the brushes upright to prevent tip deformation. With proper care, these brushes will remain reliable over time.
