As abominations rise from the shadows, it takes an officer with a resolve of iron to oppose them. Marius is such a centurion, a veteran who has slain many unsavoury beasts prowling the wilds. The Roman legionnaires and auxiliary archers at his side have witnessed horrors before, but their mettle will be tested in the battles to come.

Mormo, the Dark Mother with a Thousand Young, has unleashed her spawn to prey upon Rome and Germania. Any who fall in battle may rise again as shambling Servitors, their bodies still wearing the armour of former comrades-in-arms, but with barbed tentacles emerging from where heads should be.
