Green Stuff World’s SILVER SERIES is a premium line of Kolinsky brushes, expertly hand-crafted for both hobbyists and professional painters. Each brush features a natural Kolinsky hair tip, a durable brass ferrule, and a high-quality wooden handle—designed to deliver precision, control, and a smooth painting experience.

These brushes perform best with water-based acrylic paints and are ideal for refined techniques such as washing, blending, layering, and subtle transitions. They are particularly suited for work involving diluted paint, where the hair’s natural water retention and responsiveness shine. However, we do not recommend them for dry brushing or single-stroke techniques, as these can damage the delicate tips.

Kolinsky hair offers exceptional paint and water absorption, combined with excellent elasticity—making this a highly responsive, technical brush favored by experienced painters.

As with all natural hair brushes, the SILVER SERIES requires proper care to maintain performance. Avoid letting paint dry in the bristles, and reshape the tips after use to keep a fine point. We recommend using Green Stuff World’s Brush Repair Gel (LINK) for reshaping and conditioning. Always store the brushes upright with the bristles facing up to prevent tip deformation.

Please note: These brushes are not suitable for oil paints, as the solvents used for cleaning can damage the natural hair over time.
