Dropfleet Commander: UCM Battleship

Before the UCM launched its Reconquest campaign, its mighty battleships were already legendary and among the oldest ships in their
arsenal. After nine years of cataclysmic war, modern replacements are finally leaving Niccolum and Olympus' yards in numbers. Built on
an entirely new, colossal superstructure, these vessels match their grand forebears in devastating firepower while increasing efficiency,
reliability, and reparability. New variants are also coming on stream including the latest turreted lasers, upgradable drives, missile batteries,
and power cores capable of accepting additional armaments, enabling a new category of vessel: the super battleship.
The Thebes is the latest super battleship class to enter service with the UCMF. The Naval Design Bureau began with the Carthage's superstructure and weapons payload but reconfigured its cavernous launch bay forecastle for surface deployments in addition to mounting a pair of UF-6400 turrets. From here the Thebes can launch bulk landers, drop pods, and boarding torpedoes. Already, the class has earned a reputation as a golden deployment for landing troops since they're unlikely to perish aboard ship before making planetfall.
