Fully revised Battlefield Support rules offer quick and easy ways to bring the flavor of combined arms tactics, vehicles, aerospace strikes, artillery, and minefields - to your tabletop, without slowing down the action. Finally, the box includes a campaign allowing you to build your own mercenary experience in any BattleTech Era. The BattleTech: Mercenaries Box Set is a supplement to the BattleTech: A Game of Armored Combat Box, which is required to use this set.

This Limited Edition version of the Box Set comes with an alternative box made of faux-carbon fiber material with a red embossed chevron.
